Today we rented a car and went exploring the island. We went to the north coast and then to Nordeste, the easternmost point of the island. It's really beuatiful here. The landscape looks like a tropical version of how I imagine the Scottish highlands. Driving is fun, since there are never more than ten meters without a bend, and it's always sloping at least ten degrees up or down. We made many stops, I'll have to write about them later. This one is from a "Mirador" - a viewing point - facing the Atlantic ocean.
