Now the weather is much better again. We rented a car again and went to where there once was a zoo. But we found out that there was no zoo anymore. So we went to a apricot liqueur distillery. Which had closed as well!
So we took the car up into the volcanic montains. The clouds go so low here, so you actually drive into them (visibility = 0) and then out on the upper side of them. Vertigo warning.
This is from the Arruda Acores pineapple plantation. The pineapples are grown in seven different phases. These fruits are in the phase were they are exposed to dense smoke. The smoke triggers the plants to flower all at the same time.
